This report analyses the health and social support services presently available to people with physical disabilities in Britain within the wider framework of national, social and community care policy. It attempts to piece together a comprehensive picture of current provision from a wide variety of sources and stresses the need for change in the way that services are planned, managed and monitored. Options for the future are discussed in the light of current policy developments.
