Abstract
  • This memorandum is submitted as evidence to the inquiry into the regulation of private and other independent healthcare. It argues that there are a number of issues that require action, firstly because there is a patchwork of regulation of independent healthcare and secondly because the NHS and independent sectors are already intimately related, and the boundary between them blurred.
