This document presents the minutes of evidence from the Pay Beds Committee which was set up with the following terms of reference: "to inquire and report upon the question of hospital accommodation in London for persons prepared to pay more than ordinary voluntary hospital patients; and to report the conclusions at which they may arrive". Amendments to Appendix II are in the supplement of May 1929.
