Abstract
  • The report contains three main papers read at the forum. Monica Baly spoke of how the Nightingale Fund influenced the development of nurse education. "Education and the nursing system" was the subject of Rosemary White's paper, offering a new perspective for nursing and its structure. Christopher Maggs, in his paper on "Nursing as Historiography" argues the case for Writing nursing history, the use of oral testimony and debate to be able to contribute to the understanding of questioning of our society.
