Abstract
  • The purpose of this study visit was to note developments in the design and planning of new general hospitals and their equipment, and to assess to what extent these might be incorporated in the detailed planning and equipping of the new Hillingdon Hospital, on which construction is due to begin during 1961. Dr Bardgett had a separate objective in the preparation of a report on the Course in Hospital Administration at the University of Toronto for the King's Fund's Hospital Adminstration Staff College.
